Local Nurseries

You have done the research and want to start incorporating native plants to the New York Metro Region in your garden. We have done some of the digging for you by providing a list of local nurseries in the area. Please note that sourcing natives is quite tricky and leaves nurseries limited to what they can offer. We have done our best to pre-screen these establishments. However, it is strongly recommended that you keep the New York Flora Atlas website ready when you shop just to ensure the plant is native to our area. Have a conversation with the salesperson and ask if they sell cultivators or use pesticides. This will just give you higher success later!
